We’re excited to share our gratitude for A mano and their support of the students at the KONG Center. A mano is a neighborhood Italian bistro established in 2017. “a mano” means “by hand,” while “amano” means “they love” , a fitting description for a restaurant that’s showing so much love to our community.
Throughout the month of April, A mano is giving back by donating a portion of their Thursday sales to help us continue providing free after-school programming, meals, and enrichment opportunities for the youth we serve in Atlanta’s Old Fourth Ward.
Partnerships like this make a real impact. The support helps us create a safe space where students receive academic support, build confidence, and explore programs like boxing, dance, STEM, and more. These opportunities help our kids grow, learn, and thrive both inside and outside of the classroom.
We’re especially thankful because this partnership brings the community together in a simple but meaningful way, over great food and a shared commitment to supporting local youth. When families, friends, and colleagues dine at A mano on Thursdays in April, they’re doing more than enjoying a delicious meal ,
they’re investing in the future of our students.
We’re incredibly grateful to A mano for believing in our mission and supporting the work happening every day at the KONG Center.
Thank you again, A mano, for supporting the KONG Center and the youth we serve!
