KidKong Association Awarded 2026 AFCRA Play It Forward Grant

We’re excited to share that the KidKong Association has been selected as a recipient of the 2026 AFCRA Play It Forward Grant.

This grant is a meaningful investment in the work happening every day at the KONG Center at J.D. Sims. It allows us to continue showing up for our kids, providing a safe, consistent space where they can learn, grow, and build confidence during the hours that matter most.

At the KONG Center, our focus goes beyond programming. We’re creating an environment where young people feel seen, supported, and challenged to reach their full potential. Whether it’s through academic support, hands-on activities, or simply having a place they know they can count on, every day is about helping our students move forward.

We’re grateful to the Atlanta-Fulton County Recreation Authority (AFCRA) for recognizing the importance of this work and for investing in organizations that are expanding access and opportunity across our community.

This support helps us continue doing what matters most, showing up, staying consistent, and making sure every child who walks through our doors knows they matter.
