The KidKong Association is thrilled to announce the successful launch of its Electric Vehicle Education (E.V.E.) program, ROBOKONG, at South Atlanta High School. This new program, which will run throughout the school year, kicked off today with a dynamic and engaging first session, introducing students to the rapidly evolving electric vehicle (EV) industry.
On day one, students enjoyed a full day of hands-on experience in EV technology using RC cars, gaining practical insights into the mechanics and innovations shaping the future of transportation. ROBOKONG E.V.E. is designed to empower students with knowledge and skills in the EV field, exposing them to a unique educational opportunity that blends theory with engaging, real-world application.
This partnership with South Atlanta High School was made possible through the collaborative efforts of KidKong Association’s founder and Executive Director, Kidd Kong, and South Atlanta’s own STEM Coordinator, Ms. Andrea Miller. Ms. Miller, an enthusiastic advocate for STEM education, was instrumental in bringing this innovative program to her students.
Kidd Kong expressed his excitement about the program's launch, saying, “This was a fantastic start for ROBOKONG E.V.E., and we’re eager to watch the students' progress as they delve deeper into the EV world. Working with South Atlanta High School and Atlanta Public Schools strengthens our commitment to supporting students with enriching educational opportunities.”
The ROBOKONG E.V.E. program builds on KidKong Association's longstanding dedication to equipping underserved youth with the skills and inspiration they need to become leaders in the next generation of the EV industry. The program at South Atlanta High School marks a milestone in KidKong Association’s ongoing partnership with Atlanta Public Schools, reinforcing both organizations’ shared vision of providing accessible, high-quality STEM education.
