OUR PROGRAMS

Boxing

Boxer is an amateur boxing program designed to provide children and teens with an outlet for understanding and managing their emotions through the sport of boxing. Available to students ages 8 - 17, Boxer classes are facilitated by trained boxing coaches teaching boxing fundamentals and the importance of physical activity and perseverance.
 

Mold'n

Mold’n is a sneaker design program that introduces students to the footwear industry. Designed for students ages 14-17. MOLD’N guides students through the process of shoemaking - from a sketch to the shelf. Areas of focus include design, manufacturing, marketing, sales, and distribution.

 

The Mold’n program is divided into two parts: Knowledge Base and Practical Exploration.

  • Knowledge Base: Gives students an opportunity to learn the history and business basics of shoe design and production. 

  • Practical Exploration: An interactive session where participants will apply the learned material in a practical setting, exploring their personal interests and various facets.

     

ROBOKONG™ - FIRST® Lego League

Utilizing the FIRST® Lego League (FLL) curriculum, ROBOKONG  is a program that inspires children, ages 9 - 13, to experiment and grow their critical thinking, confidence, coding, and design skills through hands-on STEM learning and a guided, global robotics program.  


Through ROBOKONG - FIRST® Lego League, students will develop an innovative solution to a real-world problem, and design, build, and code a LEGO® robot to solve themed challenge

ROBOKONG™ - FIRST® Tech Challenge

Utilizing the FIRST® Tech Challenge curriculum, this program challenges students, ages 13 - 17, to design, build, program, and operate robots that will be used to compete in a head-to-head competition. 


The ROBOKONG - FIRST® Tech Challenge program helps participants develop STEM skills and practice engineering principles, while realizing the value of hard work, innovation, and working as a team.

 

ROBOKONG™ MiniEV

ROBOKONG MiniEV is a project-based STEM learning program that introduces students, ages 11 - 14, into the emerging field of electric vehicles. 


Working with our reusable kits, participants learn how to engineer, problem-solve, and think creatively while working together to build their own ride-on electric go kart.


 

ROBOKONG™ EV

ROBOKONG EV is a high-impact, project-based STEM learning program that provides students, ages 15 - 17, with the opportunity to explore the emerging field of electric automotive.


Working with our reusable kits, participants learn how to engineer, problem-solve, and think creatively while working together to assemble a road-ready electric vehicle.


 

Teen Podcast

Teen Podcast is a podcast program that merges project-based learning with digital media analysis and production. 

 

From speaking and listening, to writing and reading, to use of language and grammar, Riot Teen Radio offers an engaging way for students, ages 14 - 17, to demonstrate their communication, teamwork, problem solving, critical thinking and research skills.


Participants analyze the techniques that make for good storytelling, interviewing and podcasting. The activities culminate in students producing their own original podcasts.
